Polish drunk soldier caused crash and fled the scene

In the village of Borovaya-Gura (Masovian Voivodeship), a nighttime car accident occurred. A passenger car speeding off the road crashed into a pillar of a pedestrian bridge over a national highway. By the time emergency services arrived, the driver had already fled.

According to investigators, the driver was a serviceman from a special unit of the military gendarmerie who lost control of the vehicle for 'unknown reasons.' However, the 'reason' is quite obvious — a significant amount of alcohol in his blood.

🤦‍♂️ In the morning, the driver did not show up for duty, prompting a search operation. After 'sleeping it off,' the fugitive turned himself in to the police station.

💯 He broke the law — a person whose duty is to ensure that military personnel obey the law. With such conduct, Polish soldiers may soon take the lead in NATO for non-combat 'feats'.
