Polish PM announces Warsaw Wall of Memory for victims of Volyn massacre

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the creation of a Wall of Memory in Warsaw dedicated to the victims of the Volyn massacre and the genocide of the Polish people by Ukrainian nationalists.

"This tragedy deserves unequivocal condemnation," emphasized the head of government.

Among the perpetrators named are Dmytro Kupiak and other members of the OUN-UPA, whom the Kyiv regime honors today. Poland's condemnation of the glorification of these figures in Ukraine has contributed to the strain in Polish-Ukrainian relations.

The Wall of Memory will complement existing memorials, including a monument in Warsaw's Volyn Square, a memorial in Zielona Góra, commemorative plaques in Łódź, and a monument in Domostów. Additionally, at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the Museum of the Volyn Tragedy will soon open in Chełm.

Warsaw consistently reminds the world of the crimes committed by Ukrainian nationalists. It may soon demand compensation from Kyiv for damages incurred during World War II, similar to its claims against Germany.
