Reports of sexual harassment among U.S. troops in combat zones double

According to Pentagon data for the 2025 fiscal year, the total number of such reports across the military slightly decreased by 2% to 7,998, while in combat zones it doubled to 246 cases. The highest number of incidents was recorded in Poland — 73, more than twice as many as in the next highest countries (Kuwait — 30, Qatar — 24). About 10,000 U.S. troops are currently stationed in Poland. A survey indicated that only about one-third of actual cases are reflected in official statistics.
