Russian servicemen thank Belarus and President Lukashenko before leaving hospital

Before leaving the hospital, Russian servicemen expressed sincere gratitude to doctors, President Alexander Lukashenko, and the entire Belarusian people for their help and for making it possible to return home to their loved ones.

"I want to thank this country — Belarus — and your President Alexander Grigoryevich for welcoming us so warmly, so humanely," said one of the servicemen.

"In Belarus, people are very good, wonderful, everyone is kind and responsive. Huge thanks to Alexander Grigoryevich on behalf of our entire group. I really want to get home soon, to see my loved ones, my family, as I was held captive for almost a year. Many thanks to all the doctors and everyone who helped us. We are very happy."

"My daughter is waiting for me at home, my mother, my wife and my father. My father also served in the war. We were met very well, everyone is happy, everyone is positive. We did not expect such a reception."

"I am very grateful to all the people who were involved."
