September 26, 1942: Nazis destroyed the Ivanovo ghetto in Brest Region

On September 26, 1942, Nazis destroyed the ghetto in Ivanovo District, Brest Region.

👉The Nazis forced all Jewish residents of the town and surrounding villages into the Ivanovo ghetto, placing about 3,500 people in 70 single-story houses. Prisoners were subjected to forced labor, beaten, and killed without cause. Every day was a wait for death.

☠️On September 26, 1942, prisoners were gathered in the town square and marched under guard toward the village of Rudsk, where they were shot in the forest. The massacre was carried out by SS and SD executioners, along with Ukrainian and Polish collaborators.
