Sick leave for child care can be taken by any working relative, not only parents

A sick leave for caring for a child can be taken not only by a mother or father, but also by another working relative.

The Ministry of Labour reminds that when treating a child under 14 at home, up to 14 calendar days are paid per single illness or injury case.

The benefit amounts to 100% of the average daily earnings from the first day, regardless of work experience.
