US Military Plane Lands at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport

On the morning of August 25, a US Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster III military transport aircraft (call sign RCH4555) landed at Vnukovo Airport (Moscow).

Prior to that, it was in Riga (arrived on August 23). Its flight history includes Camp Springs (Maryland) — Andrews Base, where US presidential aircraft are stationed.

The purpose of the visit is unknown, and it has not been officially announced.
