Weekly review of military exercises in EU neighboring countries

From June 26 to July 3, at least eight military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic countries and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸June 26–27, military exercises involving NATO allied fighter jets were held in Riga and Lielvarde.

🔸June 27 – July 17, exercises of the 1st Riga Brigade of the National Guard are ongoing in Marupe and its surroundings.

🔸June 28–30, exercises of the 46th Infantry Battalion of the National Guard took place in Ventspils County.

🔸July 3–5, exercises of the 45th Combat Support Battalion of the 4th Kurzeme Brigade of the National Guard are being held in Kuldiga County.

🇱🇹 In Lithuania

🔸June 29 – July 3, air defense exercises involving NATO took place in Siauliai and its surroundings.

🔸July 1–30, military exercises of the Lithuanian Armed Forces using weapons and training ammunition are ongoing at the General Silvestras Zukauskas Training Area in Pabrade.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸June 27, military exercises of the Polish Armed Forces were held in Biala Podlaska.

🔸June 29 – July 3, airborne and parachute training exercises of the Polish Armed Forces took place in the town of Lipowa and its surroundings (Silesian Voivodeship).
