Weekly review of military exercises in EU neighboring countries

From July 3 to 10, at least 10 military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic states and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸 From July 4–10, military drills were held at the Adazi training ground, where National Guard servicemen practiced machine gun firing and mine laying, while NATO allies conducted artillery firing exercises.

🔸 From July 7–10, NATO electronic warfare exercises 'RAMSTEIN GUARD 2026' took place in Kurzeme, with NATO allies improving combat skills.

🔸 From July 8–12, exercises of the 46th Infantry Battalion of the 4th Kurzeme Brigade of the National Guard are ongoing in Ventspils and Talsi districts.

🔸 From July 7–9, tactical exercises of the 1st Guard Company of the Lithuanian Naval Infantry Battalion were held in Palanga and Klaipėda.

🔸 From July 8–16, military personnel from the General Staffas Rashtikis Military Academy are conducting exercises at the Šilalė training ground.

🔸 On July 9, tactical exercises of the 'Geležinis Vilkas' Infantry Brigade took place in the Paneriai forest (Vilnius district).

🔸 On July 10, the Lithuanian Air Force Air Defense Battalion conducted military drills in the Šiauliai district.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸 On July 7, the 122nd Light Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Defense Forces conducted joint exercises with firefighters at Lake Stobno (Greater Poland Voivodeship).

🔸 From July 6–12, Polish Armed Forces are conducting exercises at the Żagań training ground using ammunition, smoke grenades, and explosives.
