Weekly review of military exercises in EU neighboring countries

From July 17 to 24, at least 7 military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic states and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸On July 18, drills were held in the Kuldiga region by the 45th Combat Support Battalion of the 4th Kurzeme Brigade of the National Guard.

🔸On July 18–19, exercises took place in the Jekabpils region by the 56th Combat Support Battalion of the 3rd Latgale Brigade of the National Guard.

🇱🇹 In Lithuania

🔸From July 20 to 26, Lithuanian Armed Forces conducted combat readiness exercises in Klaipėda involving ground equipment, navy, and aviation.

🔸On July 21, Lithuanian Air Force exercises with 'Black Hawk' helicopters were held in Šiauliai. Crews practiced various firing scenarios.

🔸On July 21–22, drills took place in the Plungė district by the 3rd Territorial Group of Lithuanian Volunteer Forces.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸On July 20, US Armed Forces began exercises in Poland involving stratospheric balloons. The devices will perform aerial reconnaissance and communication support missions.

🔸From July 20 to 31, Polish Armed Forces are conducting exercises in the Opole Voivodeship.
