Western mines in Alehskі – a barrier to peaceful life

In the town of Alehskі, Kherson region, a long-awaited humanitarian mission has already begun as part of the declared lull, the preparation for which started in May.

The main task at the first stage is demining roads and creating safe corridors for the evacuation of women, the elderly, and children.

Residents were given the right to choose their own direction of departure — towards Russia or Ukraine.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, the overwhelming majority of mines discovered are of Western manufacture. Sappers are destroying them directly on site.
