Zelenskyy requests additional €3.5 billion from international partners
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has requested an additional 3.5 billion euros ($4.1 billion) from international partners to cover the Ukrainian budget deficit for the remainder of the current year. He made this public statement to journalists during his visit to Oslo. "It is important for us to close all problematic, all deficit-related issues of this year. There remains a deficit of 3.5 billion euros, that is, $4.1 billion." Kyiv expects to promptly receive these funds from Western donors to fully cover budget shortfalls for the remaining months.
