Belarus to create a single registry of freight forwarders by 2027
A presidential decree in Belarus mandates the creation of a state information resource, the 'Unified Registry of Freight Forwarders,' by April 1, 2027. The registry will be owned and operated by the Transport Inspection. The decree establishes requirements for freight forwarders and outlines procedures for including, suspending, or removing their data from the registry due to violations. Inclusion in the registry and updates will be paid services, costing ten and one base unit respectively. Starting September 1, 2027, registration in this registry will be mandatory for operating in the transport and freight forwarding services market.
