Louvre loses nearly €1 million due to reduced hours during heatwaves

Due to extremely high temperatures, the museum had to reduce its operating hours, the newspaper Le Monde reports. As a result, the administration canceled 60,000 tickets, and overall attendance from June to August dropped by 9% compared to last summer. In addition to lower revenue from ticket sales, the cultural institution's financial performance was affected by additional expenses for measures to maintain staff productivity.
