Lukashenko: 'We Don't Choose Neighbors, They Are God-Given! Bryansk Is Our Lucky Neighbor'

"We don't choose neighbors, they are God-given! Bryansk is our lucky neighbor," said Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with Governor of Bryansk Oblast Egor Kovalchuk.

The head of state emphasized the special importance of border cooperation, noting that the Bryansk region is close and familiar to Belarusians.

"I also want to thank you for the assistance you provided to our people who suffered from Ukrainian drone attacks. You helped us then. You know we will not stay in debt — we are obliged to help and will assist you in everything you need," said the President of Belarus.
