Minsk traffic lights to be connected to high-speed network to reduce traffic jams

By 2027, over 55 km of fiber-optic cable will be laid along the Second Transport Ring to connect traffic lights and cameras to a central dispatch point. The new system will enable real-time monitoring of traffic conditions. Dispatchers will be able to quickly adjust traffic light signals to reduce road congestion.
