Minsk woman names son Dobr — name had to be approved separately

A resident of Minsk named her son Dobr — a name that had to be approved separately.

The boy was born in early 2022, and the parents chose the unusual name during pregnancy. They initially considered Dobjine, but ultimately preferred the concise version.

Since the name is not in the official registry, the father had to submit a separate application during registration. At home, the baby is affectionately called Dobrik.
