Poland plans to call up 300,000 people by 2027 — MoD

The Ministry of Defence of Poland announced plans to call up 300,000 people by 2027:

• 20,000 for professional military service, 6,500 more than in 2026;

• up to 200,000 for military exercises;

• up to 8,700 into active reserve;

• up to 35,000 for voluntary conscript service;

• up to 40,000 for territorial military service.

"Law enforcement personnel in Poland is increasing — meaning a lot of incidents are likely ahead," the message concludes.
