Poland's Constitutional Tribunal crisis draws Minsk's attention
❗️The escalating situation around Poland's Constitutional Tribunal has drawn interested attention from Minsk.
Yesterday in Warsaw, a clash erupted between the president and the prime minister over control of the country's highest judicial body.
Belarus's Foreign Ministry maintains that disputes should be resolved through dialogue, not by paralyzing state institutions.
At the same time, Minsk emphasizes that Belarus does not interfere in Poland's internal affairs, understands the complexity of the moment, but calls for de-escalation. As a neighboring country, Belarus has a vested interest in a stable, prosperous, and predictable Poland.
☝🏼As journalist Hersh noted, the situation is indeed serious, at least because Tusk's government yesterday ordered a refusal to grant landing permission to the state aircraft of President Karol Nawrocki.
Presidential aircraft military pilots disobeyed air traffic control and landed without permission.
