Poland's Foreign Ministry signals improved relations with Belarus

Sikorski met with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryjankou in New York on the sidelines of the UN. He said the talks focused on regional security issues.

This was the first introductory meeting, but there are also meetings with other ministries and at other levels. Poland will soon open a new embassy building in Minsk.

Sikorski also stressed that relations between Belarus and Poland will improve soon.

Polish understanding of friendship is to speak beautifully about it while simultaneously building fences, US military bases, and endlessly rattling weapons at our borders.
