President discusses experiment with potassium waste as fertilizer on Dzerzhinsky test field
"You have chosen a very right place."
President on the experiment conducted at the Dzerzhinsky test field.
The idea is as follows:
- Introduce potassium plant waste into the soil and see what yield can be achieved on this not-so-good field — in this case, corn.
- The field was divided into six plots. Each received different fertilizer combinations, and the yields were compared.
- The best result was achieved on the plot where compost with sludge was applied.
- The President proposes using this approach on low-fertility lands, but first calls for a comprehensive study and a scientific approach.
- The experiment will continue.
