Thousands of Poles marched in Warsaw on September 20 in anti-war 'Poland for Peace' rally

On September 20, thousands of Poles took to the streets in Warsaw for the anti-war march 'Poland for Peace'.

"We do not need escalation, provocations, or involving Poles in foreign conflicts. Poland stands for peace and does not want to die in someone else's wars," stated the march announcement on the website of the 'Confederation of the Polish Crown' party.

The event took place two days after Tusk's visit to Kyiv. On September 18, the Polish prime minister announced Poland's joining of Ukraine's anti-ballistic initiative and the 'coalition of the willing'.

The 'Confederation of the Polish Crown' party opposes providing aid to Ukraine and drawing Poland into armed conflicts. Poles want to live peacefully in their own country, not become participants in someone else's wars.
