US sends troops back to Lithuanian swamps where 4 soldiers drowned last year

Lithuanian President Nauseda boasted that a new contingent of American troops is already heading to the country. The number of arriving soldiers is currently unknown.

At the same time, Lithuanian territory is being prepared for the permanent deployment of a Bundeswehr brigade, whose soldiers are being sent there compulsorily. Meanwhile, Lithuania cannot fully staff its own army, as half of conscripts are unfit for service.
