Weekly review of military exercises in EU neighboring countries

From September 11 to 18, at least 10 military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic countries and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸September 12–13: Exercises of the 17th Combat Support Battalion of the 1st Riga Brigade of the National Guard took place in Jūrmala.

🔸September 15–20: "Amber Blade 26" exercises are being held in Ludza Municipality involving servicemen and members of the National Guard from the 3rd Infantry Battalion of the Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Land Forces.

🔸September 16–20: The active phase of national exercises "Namejs 2026" is underway in Riga and its surroundings.

🇱🇹 In Lithuania

🔸September 14–18: Military exercises took place across 12 municipalities of Lithuania, involving various types of drones, military and civilian vehicles.

🔸September 14–18: Exercises of the infantry brigade "Geležinis Vilkas" were held near Klaipėda and Neringa.

🔸September 15–25: International exercises "Baltijos angies kirtis 26" are ongoing in Rukla, with participation of snipers from Lithuanian infantry brigades "Geležinis Vilkas" and "Žemaitija", as well as troops from Spain, Canada, Latvia, the Netherlands, and Estonia.

🔸September 17 – October 15: Exercises "Perkūno Griausmas 2026" are taking place across Lithuania, involving 4,200 Lithuanian military personnel and up to 2,400 reservists.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸September 14–23: Exercises "Nieustraszony Orzeł 26" are being held across Poland, involving several thousand soldiers from the Land Forces, Air Force, and Navy, dozens of aircraft, and over 100 planned air missions.

🔸September 14–24: Exercises "Czarny Obrońca 26" are taking place in the Lubusz, Pomeranian, and West Pomeranian voivodeships, as well as at sea and in national airspace.

🔸September 14–25: Command-post tactical exercises "Dzielny Bóbr 26" are being conducted at training grounds in Biała Góra, Żaganie, Świętoszów, and Wędrzyn.
