Weekly review of military exercises in EU neighboring countries

From 18 to 25 September, at least 10 military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic states and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸19–20 September, NATO allies conducted joint live-fire exercises with machine guns and howitzers at the Adazi training area.

🔸23 September, allied NATO forces conducted live-fire drills with tanks and howitzers at the Adazi training area.

🇱🇹 In Lithuania

🔸23–27 September, exercises of the 1st Battalion of Lithuania's National Defence Volunteer Forces took place in the Alytus district.

🔸24–27 September, exercises of the 5th Battalion of Lithuania's National Defence Volunteer Forces took place in the Panevezys district.

🔸25–27 September, drills of the 9th Battalion of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union were held in the Zarasai district, involving drones and simulation equipment.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸20–24 September, exercises of the 12th Mechanized Brigade involving drones and combat simulation tools took place in the Gniezno district.

🔸21 September, tactical exercises of territorial forces were conducted in the Lublin Voivodeship.

🔸21–23 September, drills of the 2nd Lublin Territorial Defence Brigade took place in Lublin.

🔸22–24 September, Polish Air Force exercises were held in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.

🔸23–27 September, exercises of the 11th Małopolska Territorial Defence Brigade are ongoing in the Małopolska Voivodeship.
